HOW MUCH DOES TREX® FENCING COST?
Installing a Trex Fence is an investment that will continue to pay you back year after year in savings on maintenance and repairs. The initial cost may be more than other products you could be considering. Retail materials costs start from the $60’s per foot for 6′ tall fencing. (Contractors, contact our team for contractor requirements for special pricing).
If you are retail customer working with a contractor to install your fence, prices are established based on project size, access to the fence lines, location, and other circumstances. Typical costs for 6′ tall fencing (including labor and materials) could average in a range from $700 to $900 per section.* Small jobs sometimes carry mobilization charges and expenses such as the removal of existing fence, gate installation, and local property conditions would typically be extra.
As for the value of a Trex Fence, the benefits align with the initial costs once the longer term cost-savings are taken into account. After just a few years of your initial installation, the cost to install a wood fence with its upkeep will exceed the cost of a Trex Fence. And, unlike a wood fence which starts to look shabby after a few months and will continue to look that way until the next maintenance event, the look of a Trex Fence stays consistent year after year.

* A section of fence is all the materials to construct up to 8′ of fencing. To accurately calculate installation pricing, use section costs rather than per-foot costs. For example, a section that is only 5′ wide would cost the same as a section of 8′ wide because the labor and most of the materials would be the same in either scenario. However, that means that although the section price is consistent, dividing that price by 8 ft would give you a different price “per foot” than dividing that price by 5 ft. Here’s a sample way of looking at the math:
Project 1: 56′ of fence = 7 sections. Example cost per section is $700. Therefore, the total cost of the project is $4,900. If you divide that cost by 56′, the “per foot” price for this particular project is about $88.
Project 2: 52′ of fence = 7 sections (rounded up to a whole number). Example cost per section is $700. Therefore, the total cost of the project is $4,900. If you divide that cost by 52′, the “per foot” price for this particular project is about $94.
