Description
Trex Fence Post Cap with Adaptor Kit for legacy posts allows the 5″ x 5″ Trex fence composite post caps to be used with the discontinued 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″posts. The 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ posts were produced from 2005-2008 before being replaced with the current 5″ x 5″ posts.
If replacing caps that are defective, contact Trex Customer Care at 800-289-8739 to process a warranty claim.
Note: Trex Fence Post Caps are not the same as Trex Transcend or other Trex railing posts. They are different in dimension and material. Only use Trex Fence post caps with the Trex composite fence post.
